How to Get Chased by Clients…Instead of Chasing after Them

Have you ever gone to a networking event with the hope you’d meet someone who would become or refer you to a paying client?

Then at the event you tell people about what you do:  “I’m a financial planner”, “We do promotional products”, or “I’m a health coach”.  And… time for a little honesty.  Their eyes glaze over.   Even though you are passionate, you can feel as you say it that you don’t sound different from anyone else who does what you do.

Sometimes the person you meet says they are interested, and you have hope! Then you chase them with phone calls and email requests for a meeting and… it probably goes nowhere.
